Hard-to-find tire sizes in Milwaukee
If three shops have already told you they don't have your size, this is the page for you. Unusual sizes are the thing our customers thank us for most often — and the reason a lot of them drive across town to us.
Why some sizes are hard to find
Most shops stock what sells fastest: the common sizes that fit the most popular cars on the road. That's a sensible way to run a business, but it means anything outside that band is a phone call to a supplier and a wait.
Larger wheel diameters are the usual sticking point — 20, 22 and 24 inch fitments on trucks and SUVs. So are older or in-between sizes on cars that have been on the road a long time.
How to find your size
It's printed on the sidewall of your current tire, and it looks something like 225/65R17. Three numbers, in that order, sometimes with letters in front.
The same figures are usually on a sticker inside the driver's door frame, which is easier to read than a dirty sidewall on a wet day.

Tell us the size and we'll tell you straight away whether we have it, what condition it's in, and what it costs. If we don't have it, we'll say so rather than have you drive over for nothing.
